The Mer Du Soleil is an inland sea in central Martell. It's shores are some of the most fertile areas in the Old World, the breadbasket of the Empire.
Les Portes Du Soleil guards the southern strait that is the only entrance to the sea, and Ombremont sits on its hubwards shore. The sea is host to a great deal of trade, and its protected position and relatively calm weather for half of the year is one of the great advantages of the Martellan Empire
